Bihar Board Class 10, 12 exam 2018: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Monday announced a new question paper pattern for both matriculation (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) examinations which are slated to take place in 2018. The state education board has also mentioned that the new pattern will include 50 per cent objective questions in all papers. Under the new format, candidates will now have to answer all objective questions on OMR sheets to ensure transparency. Earlier, only papers of science had 40 per cent objective questions. The move is possibly taken keeping in mind the poor results of both Class 10 and 12 during 2017 session. While the pass percentage in Class 10 was 50.12 per cent this year, it was a dismal 35.25 — the worst in two decades — in Class 12. (IE)
