Gujarat Elections 2017: The voting for the second phase of the Gujarat state assembly elections began in the morning. North and central Gujarat are voting today in 93 of the state's 182 constituencies. PM Narendra Modi will vote at a polling booth in the Nishan High School in Ranip locality of Sabarmati. In a tweet, he urged people of the state to exercise their power of franchise saying, "Today is Phase 2 of the Gujarat elections. I request all those voting today to vote in record numbers and enrich this festival of democracy." In the 2nd phase of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017, the Total Number of EVMs to be used is 28,114 and the Total Number of Polling Stations is 25,558.
