A decade after entering India’s luxury residential real estate market, the Trump Organization is now expanding into the commercial sector. The company announced the launch of Trump World Centre in Pune, marking its first commercial project in the country.
The development, a partnership between Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces, will feature two high-rise glass towers spanning over 1.6 million sq. ft. near Koregaon Park. One tower will have for-sale strata offices, while the other will offer larger leasable office spaces, catering to various business needs.
Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, highlighted India as the Trump brand’s largest market outside the US. Meanwhile, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, expressed enthusiasm for the new venture. “India has embraced the Trump brand with remarkable enthusiasm. After our successful collaboration on residential projects, we are proud to launch our first commercial development in India,” he said.
Trump’s legacy in India
The Trump Organization first entered the Indian market with luxury residential projects, including the 75-storeyed Trump Tower in Mumbai, launched in 2014 in partnership with the Lodha Group. The brand has since developed premium residential projects across Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata.
With this new commercial project, the Trump Organization is set to further establish its footprint in India’s real estate sector.
