HCL Technologies

HCLTech reported an 8% YoY rise in net profit at Rs 4,307 crore for Q4FY25, up from Rs 3,986 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal. This is a seasonally weak quarter for the company due to weakness in the product business and margin pressures. Its revenue from operations rose 6% to Rs 30,246 crore in Q4FY25 as against Rs 28,499 crore in Q4FY24.

Tata Communications

Tata Communications’ net profit stood at Rs 1,040.51 crore in Q4FY25, a jump of 2.3 times in comparison to Rs 321.52 crore posted during the same period of the previous financial year. The company’s revenue from operations for the quarter under review came in at Rs 5,990.35 crore, up 6.12% as against Rs 5,645.07 crore reported during Q4FY24. The company’s EBITDA stood at Rs 1,122.1 crore, up 4.2 per cent YoY.

Tata Communications has yet to see any major impact of the macro-economic challenges arising due to the ongoing global tariff uncertainties, the digital enterprise solutions provider’s MD & CEO, Amur Lakshminarayanan, told FE. “We have not seen any knee-jerk reaction (to the tariff issue), though people are cautious,” he said.

Waaree Renewables

Waaree Renewables Technologies aims to enter hybrid renewable energy projects to capitalise on the growing power demand in data centres. With an order book of 3.2 gigawatts (GW), the company is also exploring FDRE (Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy) and RTC (round-the-clock) energy solutions. Speaking to FE, Abhishek Pareek, group head (finance), Waaree Renewables Technologies, said, “We have to keep ourselves prepared for anything that comes up, especially in the data centre segment. Right now we’re building teams and capacities.”

Bharti Airtel

The Adani Group is exiting its only telecom spectrum holding by selling it to Bharti Airtel. In a deal announced on Tuesday, Bharti Airtel and its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom have entered into definitive agreements to acquire rights to use 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band from Adani Enterprises-owned Adani Data Networks.

Cyient DLM

Cyient DLM reported a 36.5% YoY increase in Q4FY25 net profit, driven by strong revenue growth and improved margins. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 31 crore Q4FY25, up from Rs 22.7 crore in the same period last year. Its revenue from operations rose 18.3% YoY to Rs 428 crore, compared with Rs 361.8 crore a year ago.

Waaree Energies

The company’s net profit in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25 rose 34% YoY to Rs 619 crore from Rs 461 crore. Its revenue increased 36.4% YoY to Rs 4,004 crore as against Rs 2,936 crore posted in the same period a year ago. The Ebitda came in at Rs 923 crore in Q4FY25 compared with Rs 418 crore in Q4FY24.

PFC

Power Finance Corporation has filed a complaint with the Economic Offences Wing concerning the alleged issuance of falsified documents by Gensol Engineering on delays in debt servicing. The company stated that Rs 307 crore out of Rs 352 crore loan disbursed to Gensol for EV leasing in 2023 remains unpaid.

Ambuja Cements

Ambuja Cements completed the acquisition of 37.8% promoters’ stake of CK Birla group firm Orient Cement and has become a promoter. With this, the total shareholding of Ambuja Cements in OCL rose to 46.66%, as it also acquired 1.82 crore shares, representing 8.87% from public shareholders of OCL.
