Huawei last month sent out invites for an event scheduled to be held on March 27 in Paris where the company is likely to unveil its new P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite smartphones. Now, with less than a month left for the launch event, the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite have surfaced on the Internet, showing us what the devices would look from head to toe. The render images of the devices leaked show that Huawei P20 and P20 Lite will sport the iPhone-style ‘notch’ on the top, while the P20 Pro will come with three cameras on the rear side.
The Huawei P20 Pro (or Plus?) leaked images show that the smartphone will cross the trend of dual camera setups and come with triple cameras on the rear. The smartphone will feature a top notch like the iPhone X, alongside its siblings – Huawei P20 and P20 Lite. The display on the three devices will bear an 18:9 aspect ratio. Evan Blass tipped the leaked renders of the smartphones – P20 and P20 Lite. The leaked images of Huawei P20 and P20 Lite show the notch at the top. He reported that the Huawei P20 Lite will have a 5.6-inch display with 1080×2250 pixel resolution, an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a 3520mAh battery. It will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
As for the Huawei P20, the device will come with a dual camera setup on the rear, unlike the triple cameras on P20 Pro. The device recently passed the TENAA certification where its specifications were revealed. The Huawei P20 will come with a top ‘notch’ and minimal bezels. It was previously reported to bear the triple cameras but the leaked image by Blass refutes their presence. The dual cameras on the device will be powered by Leica optics. The Huawei P20 Pro. on the other hand, is expected to come with a 40-megapixel camera with 3 lenses offering 5x optical zoom and a 24-megapixel selfie camera, developed by Leica.
