Rakhi Sawant is infamous for grabbing attention mostly in the wrong ways. But she gets her share of media coverage and publicity, and she makes it a point to be afloat. Recently, she wore a skimpy black dress to an Independence Day Function in Illinois, organised by the Federation of Indian Americans. And she had images of Narendra Modi pasted all over it. We have no idea what Rakhi Sawant aimed to achieve with her dress, but she did manage to capture a lot of eyeballs. What we do know is that no one would have known that Rakhi came and went to Chicago, had it not been for that dress. Considering that she’s been away from the limelight for sometime, what a stellar comeback that dress ensured!
Like much of the reaction towards Rakhi Sawant’s antics, this little black dress has definitely managed to turn heads and inspire a good many sarcastic comments that ranged from ‘Make in India’ to taking a dig at PM Modi’s travel history, given that this is one place that he would never have thought he’d end up going.

Her love for the Prime Minister, and her means of expressing it, is another matter. He will no doubt see it. And while we won’t get to see his reaction, it’s sure to be special.
