U2 frontman Bono has emerged as the world’s richest pop star after raking in nearly $41.5 billion fortune from his Facebook shares.
The ‘With or Without You’ hit-maker had shelled-out $89.6 million to buy a 2.3 per cent share with his investment group Elevation Partners in 2009 and now his current share’s worth is $1.5 billion, News.com.au reports
With his current fortune, Bono has outshined Sir Paul McCartney, who has a $1.16 billion fortune.
