RRC Group D recruitment 2019: Indian Railways will start recruiting for Level 1 posts through the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) for over a lakh vacancy in various departments and posts like Porter, Helper or Assistant in Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T Departments, Track Maintainer Grade, Gateman and Assistant Pointsman.

The application process is scheduled to begin today, from March 12, 5 pm onwards, at the RRC websites. There are 18 different RRCs across the country like Northern Railway, North Central Railway, North Eastern Railway, Central Railway, Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway, East Central Railway, North Central Railway, South Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, Southern Railway, Konkan Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway, South Western Railway and South East Central Railway.

The registration process for the posts begin: 12th March 2019, 5 PM onwards

RRC Group D 2019: Eligibility criteria:

The candidates should have a 10th standard pass certificate along with an ITI or NAT (National Apprentice Certificate) certificate.

RRC Group D recruitment 2019: Age limit:

The interested candidates should be between the age of 18 to 31 years.

RRC Group D: Selection procedure:

The written exam will be a computer-based exam, online, followed by physical efficiency test and document verification.

RRC Group D: Application fee:

The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 500, whereas that of SC, ST, Female, Differently abled person, and Ex-Servicemen is Rs 250.

 

 

The Railways have also released notification for over 1 lakh other posts in NTPC, Para Medical Staff, Paramilitary, other Ministerial Departments earlier this year.
