RRB Railway Group D Result 2019: The results of the RRB Group D recruitment examination will be available on all the regional based official websites after 3 pm on Monday, the Railway Recruitment Board announced today. In a notification issued by the government said that the results for the Computer Based Test held between September 17 and December 17 will be declared after 3 PM today.
The shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a physical test for appointment to 62,907 vacant posts announced by the Indian railways. Over 1.8 crore candidates registered for the exam. According to the official notification, the result will be released today i.e March 4, 2019 (Monday). Candidates who appeared in the examination can check the result at the central and regional websites.
“The list of candidates shortlisted for PET-based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted during the period September 17 to December 17 is scheduled to be declared after 3 pm on March 4, 2019,” mentioned the official release. The results of the RRB Group D recruitment examination will be available on the following regional official websites apart from indianrailways.gov.in.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Mumbai has also released the roll number of all the candidates who have qualified the Computer Based Test (CBT) and will now appear for the PET. Check rrbmumbai.gov.in.
Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates will be called for document verification. In case of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e., older person shall be given higher seniority. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.
RRB Bilaspur has shortlisted a total of 3478 candidates for PET.
According to the notice released by RRB Bilaspur- "Based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted during the period 17-09-2018 to 17-12-2018 by Railway Recruitment Boards(RRBs) for the Level – 1 Posts of 7th Central Pay Commission(CPC) Pay Matrix against Centralised Employment Notice- CEN 02/2018, candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed hereinunder are provisionally shortlisted to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test(PET). Candidates equal to three times the vacancies have been shortlisted for the PET."

Candidates waiting to check their Railway recruitment results for Group D posts need to note that the results have been delayed today but are expected to be released today. According to a notification released by Railway Recruitment Board, "The List of Candidates shortlisted for PET based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted during the period 17-09-18 to 17-12-18 is scheduled to be declared after 15:00 hrs on 04-03-19."
Once candidates clear all the rounds of selection, i.e. CBT and PET, a merit list will be drawn to name the candidates selected for the posts on offer. All the selected candidates will receive Level 01 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of ?18000/- plus other allowances admissible at that time.
According to the details mentioned on the official Railway notification, candidates will be shortlisted for the PET on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT). "Candidates shall be called for PET Two times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs." It is important for candidates to qualify PET so that they are eligible for the recruitment process.
Candidates can visit the various regional websites of Indian Railway recruitment board to check their RRB Group D recruitment examination results. The exam was conducted for the selection of candidates to fill close to 63000 vacancies for which over 1.8 crore candidates had registered.

To clear the exam, candidates from the unreserved category will have to secure a minimum of 40 per cent, while OBC and SC/ST candidates will have to get 30 per cent.
