The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has opened online applications for approved AICTE institutions to distribute postgraduate scholarships to eligible students who have secured qualifying marks and possess a valid GATE/CEED scorecard. These scholarships are available for first-year students in the academic year 2023-24, enrolled in AICTE-approved ME/MTech/MArch/MDes programs within the approved intake.

Institutes must create a student’s ID or facilitate online application submission by the students by November 30. Institute verification should be completed by December 15. Students pursuing postgraduate courses with valid GATE/CEED scores, who are admitted to AICTE-approved programs within the sanctioned intake, need to obtain a Unique ID from their institution. They can then log in at the following link, pgscholarship.aicte-india.org, to upload scanned copies of all original documents in JPG/JPEG format exclusively.

Required documents:

A scanned copy of the GATE/CEED scorecard.

An active bank account linked to Aadhar Card. To check the status of your bank account linkage with Aadhar, students can refer to the manual available at pgscholarship.aicteindia.org/assets/manuals/Manual_for_Bank_account_linkage_with_Aadhaar.PDF.

Only active savings bank accounts linked with Aadhar will be accepted since the PG Scholarship is disbursed through the Aadhaar Bridge Payment System (ABPS) via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

Please note that No-Frill Accounts, Jan Dhan accounts, bank accounts with limitations on transactions/credits, and joint accounts are not permissible for this scholarship application.

Subsequently, the institute will undertake the verification of the student’s data and grant approval for their candidature through the portal. Upon approval, the eligibility for scholarship disbursement will be confirmed.
