American Health Care Academy (AHCA) which provides healthcare certification has announced its expansion in India with its course offerings to the Indian aspirants. AHCA, primarily provides courses in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification since its inception in 2009.
With this expansion, AHCA aims to meet the growing demand for certified healthcare professionals in India and contribute to the improvement of emergency response capabilities across the country.
“We are thrilled to extend our operations to India, a nation with a burgeoning need for skilled healthcare professionals. Our courses are designed to be easily accessible and comprehensible, ensuring that more people can acquire essential life-saving skills,” said Hunaid Hakam, founder and CEO of AHCA. “This expansion aligns with our vision to create a healthier world by equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.”
As per officials from the company, the decision to expand across the world comes in response to the increasing recognition of the importance of CPR and First Aid training in saving lives. AHCA’s user-friendly online platform allows learners to access certification courses at their convenience, making it easier for individuals from various walks of life to gain critical healthcare skills.
Furthermore, AHCA has also collaborated with organisations like Toys for Tots, a non-profit run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve to contribute from a social perspective. As per the media reports, AHCA recently donated $1 from every CPR course purchased to Toys for Tots, aimed at spreading holiday cheer among underprivileged children in the United States.
AHCA began operations in the US in 2009 and has gradually expanded to India, Mexico, and other countries. It initiated its operations in the Philippines in May 2018, followed by expansion in Vietnam in July 2019. It also has a presence in Latvia and Pakistan and plans to expand to more countries in the near future.
