Telangana Election 2023: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally in Adilabad, Telangana ahead of state elections. Telangana is scheduled to cast votes on November 30, 2023.
Amit Shah addressed the first meeting ahead of the scheduled state election in which he alleged that Telangana under the BRS government has become the state with highest in numbers of farmers suicide.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was accused by Shah of prioritising his family growth and grooming his son KT Rama Rao as his successor.
He questioned the public if they wanted the KCR led BRS government in Telangana to continue in office or if they desired a government under the leadership of PM Modi.
Amit Shah tweeted on X, formerly Twitter, a video of him taken during the public addressal and wrote “Congress and KCR cannot protect Telangana from the present-day Razakars. Only BJP can do that.”
Shah’s gathering came after Prime Minister Modi’s speeches in Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad on October 1 and 3. During these addresses, the Prime Minister disclosed plans to establish a turmeric board for Telangana and introduced projects valued at Rs 8,000 crore.
BRS and Congress both were the target of Shah’s criticism. He highlighted the achievements of the Modi-led government at the Centre which included the abrogation of Article-370 and the progress on Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Shah did not leave AIMIM in his criticism and accused them of having control over the BRS government. He spoke of the “unfulfilled promises” of the BRS government such as 2BHK houses for eligible families and three acres of land for Dalits.
Not only he asked the public to vote for a BJP government in Telangana but he also urged people to give their mandate to Modi in the Lok Sabha elections that are to be held in 2023.
