Telangana CM Swearing-in Ceremony Highlights: Telangana Congress chief Anumula Revanth Reddy took oath as the chief minister on Thursday following the party’s stunning victory in the recent Assembly elections. Mallu Bhatti Vikaramarka took oath as the deputy CM. They were administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan. As per the strength of the Assembly, Telangana can have 18 ministers including CM. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party leader Rahul Gandhi, along with other senior party leaders, were present at the swearing-in ceremony. Along with Revanth, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, C Damodar Rajanarasimha, D Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, D Anasuya (popularly known as Seethakka), Tummala Nageswara Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao also took oath as ministers.

On Wednesday, Revanth Reddy met central leaders in Delhi, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manikrao Thakre, KC Venugopal, and Mallikarjun Kharge and extended personal invitations to them for the upcoming oath-taking ceremony.
