As the nation celebrates the festival of colours, Holi, prominent leaders belonging to different political parties took to social media to send Holi wishes to everybody. Starting from Prime Minister Narendra Modi all the way to President Droupadi Murmu, many other leaders from the Centre, states and the Opposition sent their Holi greetings to everybody on Monday morning.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X, formerly Twitter, to convey his Holi wishes, in which he said that, “Many happy Holi wishes to all my family members of the country. May this traditional festival decorated with colours of affection and harmony bring new energy and new enthusiasm in the lives of all of you.”

President Droupadi Murmu shared her Holi wishes with everybody on Holi’s eve. “On the auspicious occasion of Holi, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all Indians living in India and abroad,” Murmu stated. “Holi is a vibrant and joyous festival, which infuses hope and enthusiasm into our lives. Various colours of Holi symbolise the diversity of our country. This festival promotes feelings of love, unity and brotherhood among the people. The festival also inspires us to strengthen our cultural heritage,” Murmu added.
Union Minister Amit Shah also took to X to send his Holi wishes to everybody. “Best wishes to all the countrymen for the great festival of colours and joy, Holi. May this festival of happiness bring colours of prosperity and harmony into the lives of all of you and become a medium for the transmission of new energy,” Amit Shah shared via his official X handle.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to X to convey his Holi wishes. “Best wishes to all of you on the festival of Holi. May this festival of colours infuse joy, enthusiasm and new energy into your life. Happy Holi!” he mentioned.

Other leaders who sent their Holi wishes include Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Mamata Banerjee, who wrote “Best wishes for Dola Yatra and Holi to all. May the life of every person of Bengal be coloured in the colour of peace-harmony-love – I pray. Stay well everyone, stay healthy.”

Member of Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi took to X to also convey his Holi greetings, in which he wrote “Best wishes to all of you countrymen on the festival of colours, Holi! I wish that this festival increases unity, brotherhood and harmony among all Indians.”
