Mizoram Election Results 2023 Winners List: The state of Mizoram witnessed a three-way contest with the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF), the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), and the Congress. The counting process began at 8 AM. The Election Commission, responding to appeals from various quarters, including political parties, NGOs, churches, and student bodies, deferred the vote counting process orginally scheduled to take place on Sunday (December 3) to Monday (December 4). This decision was made out of respect for the significance that Sunday holds for the predominantly Christian population of Mizoram.

The polling, which took place on November 7, saw a voter turnout, with over 80 percent of the state’s 8.57 lakh voters exercising their democratic right. A total of 174 candidates, of which 18 were women, contested in this election.
