Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has been assigned additional charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare following the resignation of Narendra Singh Tomar from his position as the minister. This decision follows the announcement of results in Madhya Pradesh on December 3, where Tomar emerged victorious from the Dimani seat in the state.

Following his resignation, Arjun Munda, a three-time Chief Minister of Jharkhand and the Tribal Affairs minister since May 2019, has been designated as Tomar’s successor.
