Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s right hand man and CPI(M) central committee member EP Jayarajan has resigned from the state Cabinet, on charges of nepotism. He was holding the portfolios of industry and sports. “The CPI(M) state secretariat meeting held at Thiruvananthapuram has granted Jayarajan permission to resign from the Cabinet,” Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, CPI(M) state secretary told mediapersons here, on Friday.
