The Congress is predicted to make a comeback in Haryana after a decade with most exit polls predicting its win. Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly took place on Saturday. Polling ended at 6 PM and exit polls prediction started trickling in from 6 30 PM onwards. The voter turnout till 5 PM stood at 61%. The magic figure in the 90-member House is 46.
According to NDTV Poll of Polls, the Congress is likely to bag 55-62 seats, while the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is aiming for a hat-trick in the state, is predicted to win 20-32 seats.
