A fire broke out in the basement of an apartment on MM Road in DLF Ankur Vihar, Ghaziabad, on Thursday night. At least 12 two-wheelers and four cars were charred in the incident, as reported by ANI.

According to Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal, One of the vehicles first caught fire in the basement which then spread throughout the basement.

“We received information about a fire in the parking area and people being stuck on the upper floors. The fire had spread in the basement. Firefighting and rescue operations were carried out, and around 12 two-wheelers and four four-wheelers were damaged in the incident. The fire has been completely extinguished,” he was quoted as saying by ANI.
