Delhi-based online health-care company Lybrate has raised $10.2 million from Tiger Global Management, Ratan Tata, the chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, and existing investor Nexus Venture Partners.
“By connecting doctors with people and letting them communicate, we are trying to solve the fundamental problem and transform the way healthcare is delivered,” said Lybrate CEO Saurabh Arora.
The company claims to have over 80,000 doctors connected with its service.
