Sonata Software aims to get 25% of its revenue from AI solutions in the next two-three years, Anthony Lange, chief revenue and global partner officer, told FE in an interaction. The company seeks to leverage its investments in artificial intelligence and its responsible-first AI platform — Harmoni.AI — to achieve the target.

Lange said, “Sonata has made significant investment in AI and has introduced a responsible-first AI platform, Harmoni.AI, revolutionising and modernising the way our clients carry out their business operations. It is seamlessly integrated into various aspects of our customer-centric initiatives.”

Explaining the AI potential in the US, Lange added: “People are excited about the opportunities that AI is going to bring for them — both on the top line — revenue, better experience, etc — as well as the bottom line in terms of being more efficient, doing more with less through AI-assisted workforces. Sonata’s positioning with Microsoft, as the leading innovator around AI, has positioned us well for some very large opportunities.”

Microsoft is one of the biggest partners of Sonata. Lange added that Sonata leverages Microsoft’s sales engine in the international market.  “The OpenAI investment and innovation that Microsoft is driving in the market is so beneficial for us in terms of driving services revenue. And Microsoft is being very aggressive in terms of replacing their competitors in many of the enterprises that we serve,” Lange said.

He explained that opportunities are coming in two flavours. One is the implementation application of AI through Microsoft co-pilots, which sits everywhere and supports someone’s work. The second is Microsoft taking market share from its primary competitor and their aggressive approach to the market based on the integration. “So, that’s really a significant driver for us,” Lange said.

The company aims to double its international business to $500 million in next three years from its current topline that is around $240 million. Sonata’s total business currently stands around $920 million, including both international IT services business and domestic product and services business. It has also laid out its plan to achieve a revenue of $1.5 billion by the end of FY26.  Asked on whether the slowing US market will lead to Europe emerging as their top geographical region, Lange said, “Our biggest partner is Microsoft. Half of Microsoft’s revenue is done in the US. The other half is done in the rest of the world. So, if you just look at that from a data point perspective, we are going to continue growing our business in the US.”
