Criteo has announced Michael Komasinski as its new chief executive officer, effective 15 February, 2025. Komasinski will also join the company’s Board of Directors, succeeding Megan Clarken, who is stepping down after a notable tenure. Clarken, who announced her retirement earlier, will continue in a senior advisory role to ensure a seamless leadership transition. With over two decades of experience in advertising technology and global retail partnerships, Komasinski is recognised for driving growth through innovation and fostering inclusive workplaces, the company added.
“We ran a comprehensive search process to identify the next CEO of Criteo to ensure we have the right leader to spearhead the next phase of the Company’s AI-fueled transformation and vision as the world’s leading Commerce Media Platform,” Rachel Picard, chair of Criteo’s Board of Directors, said.
Before his appointment at Criteo, Komasinski served as Global CEO of Merkle and CEO of the Americas at dentsu. He has held key roles at prominent firms like Razorfish, Nielsen, and A.T. Kearney. In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Komasinski is a board member of the Ad Council and serves on advisory boards for Meta and Microsoft. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
