What is the one thing you like to do when not working?

When life gets too busy, I find peace in two things, traveling and books. There’s nothing like escaping the routine to explore new places, whether it’s a hidden corner of Delhi or a beautiful destination in India. On quieter days, I let a good book take me away. I’m endlessly curious about space, technology, and the workings of the human brain. There’s always something new to discover within the pages of a great read.

How do you spend your weekends?

Living in Delhi has been an incredible experience, but it comes with its share of challenges, especially the pollution. On clear days, I make the most of it, stepping out to explore the city’s vibrant history, culture, and flavors, or heading out to travel somewhere new. When the air isn’t kind, I stay home, turning to my favorite books. Reading allows me to wander through ideas, stories, and knowledge, no matter what’s happening outside my window.

What are your favourite gadgets?

If there’s one gadget I can’t imagine life without, it’s my noise-cancelling headset. As someone who spends a lot of time traveling, these headphones are more than just a convenience, they’re essential. Whether it’s shutting out airplane noise, listening to my favorite music, or diving into an audiobook, they bring a sense of comfort and clarity wherever I go.

Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?

If I had to choose another career, I would be a doctor, more specifically a neurosurgeon. The human brain fascinates me endlessly. Its complexity, its mysteries, and its capacity to shape everything we are and do make it one of the most extraordinary areas of study and practice.

Which is your favourite vacation spot?

California holds a special place in my heart, it’s where my daughter and granddaughter live, and spending time with them is the highlight of any trip there. Whether it’s enjoying the sunny beaches, exploring the state’s beautiful landscapes, or simply spending time with my loved ones, California offers the perfect blend of warmth, comfort, and joy. It’s my little haven of love and happiness.

A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching

If you love sharp storytelling, Succession is a must-watch, it’s an intense dive into power, family, and ambition. For movies, Pulp Fiction and The Big Lebowski are my all-time favorites; they’re brilliantly quirky, endlessly rewatchable, and packed with unforgettable characters. And when it comes to ads, the De’Longhi Perfetto campaign is one that always stays with me. Maybe it’s the charm of Italy, maybe it’s Brad Pitt, or maybe it’s just the magic of coffee, but it manages to evoke a sense of effortless charm and escape that’s truly memorable.
