Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Deepak Bhardwaj, Co-founder and Director, IoTechWorld Avigation, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
Q1- What’s your favourite activity when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I love to travel and explore new places and cultures. Travelling not only helps me to recharge but also inspires new ideas for our tech solutions. It’s a refreshing break from the daily grind, and it often provides me with fresh perspectives that I bring back to my work.
Q2 – How do you unwind over the weekends?
Weekends are all about family time for me. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or cycling with my family, which helps us bond and stay active. When we’re indoors, I often dive into a good book or catch up on the latest tech news to keep my mind engaged and informed.
Q3 – What’s your favourite gadget?
Unsurprisingly, it’s our latest agricultural drone model. But for personal use, I’m quite fond of my smartwatch. It helps me stay on top of notifications while keeping my hands free for work.
Q4 – If not in your current profession, what would you have been?
If I weren’t in my current role, I would likely be running a startup focused on sustainable technologies. I’m passionate about finding innovative ways to use technology to make our world more sustainable. Also, I’ve always been interested in teaching entrepreneurship to young innovators, so I might be sharing insights from my journey to inspire the next generation.
Q5 – What’s your favourite vacation spot?
I love exploring the serene beauty of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The majestic Himalayas, the pristine valleys, and the calm atmosphere make these destinations perfect for both, adventure and peaceful retreats.
Q6 – Recommend a TV show, movie, or ad campaign that you enjoyed recently.
I recently enjoyed the documentary series “Our Planet” on Netflix. It beautifully showcases the Earth’s diversity and subtly highlights the need for sustainable technologies, which aligns with our company’s mission. The movie “Inception” is a must-watch for its complex narrative and mind-bending plot. As for an ad campaign, Dove’s “Real Beauty” campaign stands out for its authenticity and positive message about beauty, which I believe is crucial in today’s media landscape.
