Meanwhile, the Budget Session of Parliament has commenced on January 29. President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the joint sitting of the two Houses on the opening day of Budget 2018 Parliament Session. The first phase of the session is from January 29 to February 9. Following that there will be a recess, Parliament will resume again on March 5. The second leg of the Budget session will culminate on April 6. This recess between the session will be there so that the standing committees can clear the budgetary proposals made during Budget 2018 Arun Jaitley budget speech.
