New-age private sector lender, Yes Bank has tied up with Lahti Science and Business Park (LSBP), a Finnish firm to provide investment banking, M&A services, technology transfer, joint venture advisory and fund raising services to Indian and Finnish companies.
Accordingly, the alliance has identified four Finnish companies in the area of clean technology for tie-up with Indian firms, of which two out of these four companies is likely to be funded by Yes Bank.
?We may look at funding two out of these four companies, which are from the municipal waste management sectors. The funding will be in the range of Rs 150-200 crore per company,? said Somak Ghosh, group president of corporate finance and development banking at Yes Bank. The strategic alliance with LSBP will provide joint advisory services to Finnish clean and sustainable technology companies in Indian markets. These advisory services will include joint venture formation, strategic acquisition, strategic sale to Indian companies, and fund raising for India operations.
