Mindtree, the $435-million Bangalore-headquartered mid-tier IT services company, continued with its strategy of inducting senior professionals to its management council by hiring executives from larger multi-billion firms.
On Monday, it announced the appointments of Ramesh Pillai as senior vice-president and global head of hi-tech vertical and Mark Wilsdon as vice-president and head of sales for the UK & EU. Pillai and Wilsdon were earlier with HCL and Cognizant, respectively.
Pillai comes to Mindtree after a 13-year tenure at HCL where he last served as the vice-president & global head of core manufacturing market segments (aerospace & defense, automotive and medical devices). He will be reporting to Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO & MD, Mindtree. Wilsdon, who most recently led sales and strategic engagements for the UK and Ireland at Cognizant will lead Mindtree?s expansion in Europe.

In October, Mindtree had announced the appointment of Paul Gottsegen as the chief marketing officer (CMO). Gottsegen had joined the company from Infosys.
