KSB Pumps Ltd, a pioneer in submersible and industrial pumps, is positioning itself to take advantage of the industrialisation in Orissa.
“We are targeting to have at least 10% of the market share in Orissa within three years, ” said JS Bose, manager (sales). According to him, around 1.50 lakh units are sold in Orissa per annum.
The company on Tuesday launched mini-monobloc pumpsets in Puri. Probal Moitra, deputy manager, told reporters that the company has a 22% market share in the submersible pumps sector in eastern region.
The company has 50 dealers in the region, and out of that 18 are in Orissa, Moitra said. KSB Pumps is strengthening its marketing network in the east, he added.
