The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) today modified and finalized the policy for grant of extension in time for construction on Institutional sites and grant of extension fee.
As per the existing policy for sites for social, charitable trusts, religious institutions, philanthropic institutions and trusts, the constructions were required to be completed with a period of two years from the date of the offer of possession. Further, an extension of three years was permissible for completing construction on such institutional sites on payment of extension fee. Now the total period of completing construction would be seven years from the date of possession.
For social and religious institutions existing in high potential zone for first year of extension the rate of extension fee per square meter have been increased from Rs five to Rs 10, for second year from Rs eight to Rs 15, for third year from Rs 10 to Rs 20, for fourth year and fifth year it has been increased to Rs 25 and Rs 30 respectively. For medium potential zone for the first year of extension the rate has been increased from Rs three to Rs five per square meter, for second year from Rs five to 10, for third year from Rs eight to Rs 15 and for fourth and fifth year it has been increased to Rs 20 and Rs 25 per square meter respectively. For those existing in low potential zone, for the first, second, third, fourth and fifth year of extension the rates have been increased to Rs four, Rs six, Rs 10, Rs 15 and Rs 20 per square meter respectively.
In case the allottee of institutional plot allotted to department of government or its organizations fails to complete construction within ten years from the date of offer of possession then the case of further extension in the time limit up to two years.
