The Electronics Division of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has supplied state of the art ‘Speedtronic Mark-VI’ control system for the first Advanced-Class gas turbine to Gujarat State Electricity Generation Company (GSEG), Hazira.
Gas turbine control system would be used for controlling BHEL’s first 9FA series gas turbine with low emission combustion systems (DLN2+) at GSEG’s 350 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, BHEL said in a statement in Bangalore.
BHEL has earlier supplied similar systems for lower rating gas turbines for various projects of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Damodar Valley Corporation, Gujarat State Electricity Company Ltd. and has recently exported the system to M/s Petroleum Development, Oman.
