The makers of Officers Choice whisky, Allied Blenders and Distillers Private (ABD) expects a 25% growth in revenues over last year and hopes to clock volumes to the tune of 15.5 million cases by the end of the current financial year. The company targets a topline of around Rs 1500 crore by March 2011. Till last year, it had sold volumes of 12.4 million cases and had closed the year 2009-10 with revenues of around Rs 1200 crore. One case carries nine litres or 12 bottles of 750 ml each.

It is the fourth largest player in the 200-million-case-strong India Made Foreign Liquour market, behind Vijay Mallya-promoted United Spirits Ltd as the largest player selling 100 million cases last year, followed by Diageo and Radico Khaitan. However, it claims that by the end of financial year 2010-11, it will move a notch up to become the third largest brand in the market.

The company has four major brands into its portfolio with Officers Choice in the whisky segment, Wodka Gorbatschow and Class Vodka in the vodka segment and Jolly Roger in the rum segment.
