The government is revamping a scheme to provide 2-3.5% interest subvention to MSME exporters, with varying rates for different sectors. This will be a part of the support package for exporters affected by US tariffs and may run for 5 years. The previous version of the scheme, which ended in December 2024, had successfully boosted export volumes and lowered bank interest rates.
