Astronomer HR executive, Kristin Cabot, recently became the subject of a Coldplay concert controversy after being spotted embracing the company’s CEO Andy Byron. The pair, perceived to be married to their respective partners, has since infamously climbed the ranks of viral fame on social media, while the world continues digging deeper into their professional and personal past lives.
Amid speculations of an alleged extra-marital affair, Cabot has been linked to two men she appears to have been married at one point. A man named Kenneth Thornby initially surfaced in headlines suggesting that he was married to Cabot until they filed for separation in 2018. Their divorce is said to have finalised in 2022, as per a New York Post report citing Massachusetts court records. Additionally, they reportedly share a child.
A more recent report, however, has brought up another man named Andrew Cabot, who appears to be the Astronomer HR chief’s alleged second husband. But, who is he?
Who is Andrew Cabot? Kristin Cabot’s alleged husband makes headlines
While Thornby and Cabot reportedly went their separate ways years ago, the Astronomer HR Head appears to have been married to the CEO of a company called Privateer Rum. The Post has further shed light on property records indicating that Kristin has shared a Rye, New Hampshire address with Andrew Cabot.
The Astronomer exec, whose maiden name in Stanek, appears to have bought the two-story, four-bedroom house located just minutes away from the Atlantic coast in February for $2.2 million — just months before she got entangled in the ‘ColdplayGate’ controversy. Listed as “husband and wife” in the records, the pair even sold a different four-bedroom property – which they snapped up in April 2024 – for $1.05 million in February.
It remains unclear when the pair sharing a last name got hitched. Nonetheless, Kristin Cabot’s now-deleted LinkedIn account establishes that she was an “advisory board member” at Andrew Cabot’s company since September 2020. Circulating reports have also noticed the HR chief wasn’t wearing her ring at the Coldplay concert.
More about Andrew Cabot and his previous marriages
The official website of Privateer Rum lists Andrew as the CEO and COO. His “ancestor, the original Andrew Cabot (1750-1791), was a merchant, rum distiller and successful American privateer during the American Revolution,” as per his bio.
His role at the company puts him in charge of the vision and strategy, as he works closely with the employees to “produce one of the finest rums in the world.”
A picture circulating online purportedly showed the Cabot couple posing alongside two children. A Daily Mail report relied on public documents to determine the Privateer Rum CEO has been married atleast twice before his ties to Kristin – in 1993 and 2014. He reportedly shares two kids with first wife Maud.
He and Maud filed for divorce in 2013 after going their separate ways in 2011. Years later, Cabot and his second wife Julie, who got married in 2014, filed for divorce in 2018.
