Samsung has unveiled the all new smartphone, Galaxy C5 Pro in China. The phone has been listed on Samsung China’s website, and users can pre-order the device. The price of the Galaxy C5 Pro has been put of 2,499 yuan (around Rs 24,100). The smartphone has a metal unibody design along with antenna lines at the rear top and bottom. Galaxy C5 Pro also has a home button shaped like a capsule which also acts as a fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone has a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The Galaxy C5 Pro is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The new smartphone also supports Samsung Pay as well. Samsung Pay, the mobile payments app was recently launched in India too.
The new smartphone by Samsung features a 16MP rear camera with auto-focus, f/1.9 aperture and flash. The camera supports full HD (1920 x 1080) video recording at 30 fps. Notably, the selfie camera is also 16MP which comes with f/1.9 aperture. The phone is fueled by a 2,600mAh battery which claims up to 96 hours of standby time.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy C5 Pro has USB Type-C and 3.5 mm stereo jack. The new device supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, ANT+, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n 2.4 + 5GHz and NFC. Sensors on the C5 Pro include the Acceleration sensor, Fingerprint reader, Gyro sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Proximity sensor and RGB light sensor. In terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7 mm and weighs 145 grammes.
Samsung recently launched its new smartphone powerhouse ‘Galaxy C9 Pro’ in India. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is available in two colour variants, black and gold. The device is available across all retail channels in the latter half of February 2017 at a price of Rs 36,900.
