However, Nitin Gadkari’s office has denied the news by HT issuing a statement. “News that 50 chartered flights will ferry VIP’s for Nitin Gadkari’s daughter’s wedding are mischievous & incorrect,” Nitin Gadkari’s office said in a statement. Only ten non-scheduled flights have landed at Nagpur airport in the last 24 hours, according to the ATC Nagpur airport. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held at Rani Kothi on Wardha Road in Nagpur. This is not the first time that Gadkari is throwing this grand wedding ceremony. In 2010, when his son Nikhil tied knot with Rutuja, a similar gathering of VVIPs was seen in Nagpur. Gadkari’s other son, Sarang, is also married. Gadkari’s daughter Ketki, the youngest among three siblings, is scheduled to tie the nuptial knot with Aditya, the son of Sandhya and Ravindra Kaskhedikar of Nagpur. Both work for as social networking company Facebook in the US.

The money being spent on this wedding was earned through crores of crores in irrigation scams in Maharashtra when Gadkari was PWD minister. Amit Shah, Modi, Jhhotely and Urjit Patel should explain these expenses to the nation or else people of India should make up their mind whether they are the ones most corrupt in the country.
