Game of Thrones trailer Season 7: The new Game of Thrones trailer is out and it promises that the seventh season is going to be as full of thrills and spills (read gory murders and machinations) as ever, perhaps more. And what will the fulcrum of the action be? What with Cersei Lannister on top lording it over the Iron Throne the blood feuds are going to deliver as violent endings as can be imagined, especially as she is set to run into an emboldened and empowered to a much greater extent Jon Snow – ‘King of the North’. Oh yes, Daenerys Targaryen is at the head of an army and, determined as ever, she looks to be promising to wreak vengeance all around.

The trailer serves to whet the appetite of those who are hooked to it, although it could have done with a lot more action, or a dialogue that blows the viewer away. Still, nothing is taken away from the crackling pace that it promises. And what is that vow – a great war is coming and what is more, this time it may well be bigger and better than anything seen so far.

Watch Trailer:

Season seven of Game of Thrones starts at 9 pm on July 16 (HBO). However, be forewarned, there are just 7 episodes. Oh yes, viewers will also get a chance to see Ed Sheeran and Jim Broadbent too.
