US President Donald Trump called for billionaire financier George Soros and his son to be prosecuted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO).
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “George Soros and his radical left-wing son should be charged with RICO for their support of violent protests and many other destructive actions across the US Soros and his group of extremists have caused tremendous harm to our country, including his radical friends on the West Coast. Be careful, we’re watching you!”
The RICO Act is typically used to target organised crime activities such as illegal gambling, loan sharking, and racketeering, and can result in severe criminal penalties.
