The conspiracies around the death of Suchir Balaji, former Open AI programmer and whistleblower, have caught themselves in a fresh blow of wind with Tucker Carlson’s latest interview with the deceased’s mother. “He celebrated his birthday a day before he died. What more do we need to give on account that he was in a happy mood?” Balaji’s mother asked in reply to Carlson’s prodding if it really was a suicide. Balaji’s mother also reveals how he accepted a birthday gift from his father on the day the former’s body was found in his apartment in San Fransisco, USA. “Extremely concerning” Elon Musk, CEO, Tesla Motors took to X (formerly Twitter) while reposting the interview.
“How I knew that my son was dead was by looking at the white van,” Balaji’s mother narrates the horrors that unfolded on the day her son died. She explains how the police personnel, despite knowing of the death, did not inform her and kept making excuses. “It took them 14 minutes to determine the cause of death and tell me that it was a suicide,” she narrated. “In the evening, they returned the keys to me and told me that I could pick up the body tomorrow,” Balaji’s mother added while commenting on how lack of proper investigation is an inevitable trace of foul play. Contrary to the roles, the funeral home suggested the parents conduct a second autopsy as there were signs of foul play, Balaji’s mother recollects.
Balaji’s mother goes on to tell Carlson how there also was a case of missing packages, highlighting the security of the building, Buchanan Street apartment, Balaji resided in. “Everybody is suppressed, nobody is ready to come up and tell the truth. Even the attorneys have been made to tell that it is a suicide,” she added when Carlson asked whether the parents took any steps to reverse the claim that the 26-year-old did commit suicide.
