Billionaire Elon Musk ripped former Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris a new one late Sunday night (US time). Responding to an X post alleging that Democrats unloaded Social Security numbers to millions of undocumented immigrants, the tech titan fumed online.
“Yes, it is utterly insane,” he tweeted on X. “The American people would have been disfranchised if the machine represented by the Kamala puppet had won. Thankfully, we have President Trump.”
The original post shared by user Wall Street Apes further claimed that the “illegals” were “registering to vote” and Elon Musk “has confirmation they did vote.” The purported exposé went as far as suggesting that undocumented migrants “enrolled in Medicaid with their new Social Security numbers.”

Elon Musk on alleged Social Security fraud and cuts
The Tesla boss’ latest tweet follows his ongoing hefty claims about Social Security being the biggest “Ponzi scheme” of all time. So far, he’s brought up the issue in multiple interviews with the Fox Network. His newest remarks on the issue came on Thursday when he and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team sat down with for the “Special Report’ interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier.
Defending federal cuts and insisting on the existence of a widespread Social Security fraud, Elon Musk said that imposters “steal people’s Social Security… all day, every day.” The Space X CEO also emphasised how DOGE’s work will help “the legitimate recipients of Social Security… receive more money, not less money.”
Meanwhile, Musk, himself has been in hot water over the Social Security discourse. On March 20, U.S. District Judge Ellen Lipton Hollander of Maryland ruled to halt DOGE’s “unbridled access” to private Social Security data as the Social Security Administration (SSA) was accused of violating privacy laws, per Reuters.
