The winner of this year’s Miss Universe India was Manika Vishwakarma. Crowned by former Miss Universe Indian 2024, Rhea Singha, Vishwakarma will now represent India at a global level in Thailand at Miss Universe 2025.

For the second consecutive year, the grand finale of the glittering Miss Universe Indian 2025 was held in Jaipur. Chosen out of 48 contestants, Vishwakarma left behind Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh and Mehak Dhingra from Haryana, who secured the second runner-up position. Amishi Kaushik was the third runner-up at Miss Universe Indian 2025.

Who is Manika Vishwakarma?

Miss Universe India 2025, Manika Vishwakarma, hails from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan but now calls Delhi home, where she juggles her studies with the demanding world of pageantry. A final-year Political Science and Economics student, she first rose to prominence after winning the Miss Universe Rajasthan crown last year.

Beyond the stage, Manika is a trained classical dancer and a gifted artist, with her talent recognised by institutions such as the Lalit Kala Akademi and JJ School of Arts. She has also represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs. Her work, however, is not confined to academics and the arts.

Passionate about mental health and inclusivity, Manika champions the cause of neurodivergence. She is the founder of Neuronova, an initiative that raises awareness about conditions like ADHD and encourages society to see them not as limitations, but as unique cognitive strengths.

In an interview with ANI after her victory, she revealed her plans for the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand. “I need to do my best,” she remarked in hopes of getting the crown home. She explained how contestants need rigorous training for several aspects of the competition, like ramp walk, communication, and beauty. Ending her message on an inspirational note , she said, “Anything is possible with hard work.”
