Adani to visit Maha Kumbh: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, will engage in spiritual activities at the Maha Kumbh Mela on Tuesday. His visit includes prayers at the ISKCON camp, where he will offer his prayers and respect at the statue of Lord Hanuman in Bandhwa. Extensive arrangements have been made by ISKCON to welcome him. Additionally, Adani will serve in the community kitchen (Bhandara), providing free meals to pilgrims.

Adani providing daily meals to devotees

Adani Group in partnership with ISKCON and Gita Press, is distributing daily meals to one lakh devotees, which include roti, dal, rice, vegetables, and sweets. Along with the meals, one crore Aarti offerings are being reportedly distributed, and Adani will actively participate in these charitable efforts. The Adani Group has also set up battery-operated vehicles to assist pilgrims with mobility challenges, including elderly and differently-abled individuals.

Adani to take a dip in Sangam

Gautam Adani will further immerse himself in the Sangam as an act of devotion during his visit. The Adani Group’s efforts aim to provide a seamless experience for all pilgrims, particularly those who require additional assistance. The group’s daily distribution of Maha Prasad and Aarti offerings reflects their ongoing commitment to the welfare of attendees at the Kumbh Mela.

Sudha Murthy joins Maha Kumbh

On Monday, Rajya Sabha MP and philanthropist Sudha Murthy arrived in Prayagraj to participate in the Maha Kumbh, expressing her joy and reverence for the sacred event. During her three-day visit, Murthy described the occasion as a unique spiritual experience. “I am very excited because this is ‘Teerthraj.’ The Maha Kumbh happens after 144 years, and I am thrilled, hopeful, and extremely happy to be here,” she told ANI.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13, continues to attract an overwhelming number of devotees. By Monday evening, over 5.33 million pilgrims had taken a holy dip at the Sangam Triveni, with the total number reaching nearly 87.9 million by January 20.
