A very heated discussion started on Reddit about how Gen Z women are outperforming males. The post that made the controversy happen asked,

“In my experience, most of my high school male friends are still living with their parents and have no real direction for life. Most of my college classes, though, are made up of women. It feels like some great societal shift is happening inside of there: Gen Z women are going to be more educated and ambitious, while the majority of Gen Z men appear to be stagnant and out of work.”

Responses to that. A Redditor had this to say: “Today’s society makes the men feel left out. Such situations easily lend themselves to right-wing propaganda to fill the void and make men seem purposeful in life. Life doesn’t offer much for most men outside this.” Another user condemned how right-wing politics affects men: “It’s sad how many have fallen for right-wing propaganda. Curious to see what happens in the long run.”

However, one commenter dismissed this assumption: “Is it really propaganda when one side tells men they are worthless while the other accepts them? Before we lose democracy, the left needs to get it together.”

The debate opens a broader discussion about gender roles and educational achievement and will describe a new face of generation Z. These aspects will mainly regard workplace and social dynamics.
