People of India should dedicate a minute of their life every day for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and also donate one Rupee in a bank account opened for the Prime Minister as a gesture of return gift to everything that he has done for the country, said actor Sudesh Berry in video message on the PM’s birthday. He said that he considers the Prime Minister as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

PM Modi celebrated his birthday on September 17 with wishes pouring in from across the world. Berry recorded a video message for the Prime Minister and said while everyone greets him in the same way, Berry said he would take the liberty to say something else.

“Amidst the cacophony, we didn’t pay attention to the best birthday wish. Sudesh Berry wants to open an account in the name of Modiji. And, he says, every Indian should deposit one rupee in that account,” the user, who shared the actor’s video on X, said.

Meanwhile, in the video, the Border movie actor said, “Namaskar Modi ji, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your birthday and wish you a happy birthday. Thousands, lakhs and crores of people must have wished you a happy birthday. On this occasion, I would like to take the liberty to say that I do not consider you to be a normal human being…I do not mean to say that you are not a human being. I consider you to be a Lord Vishnu avatar.”

Explaining the reason, he said that ever since the PM came to this country, the people of this country have seen a change that he could not even imagine. “That is why I consider you to be a Lord Vishnu avatar. Please forgive me if I am saying something wrong. This is my own feeling,” he added.

‘1 minute, 1 rupee’ for PM Modi

The actor further said that Prime Minister Modi’s policies led to opening of crores of bank accounts for the citizens. Let us open an account for the PM and 140 crore people of the country will donate Rs 1 in the account everyday.

The second, he said,” One minute of our life, through havan or in front of a temple taking deities as witness should be donated for PM Modi. All the 140 crore people should give one minute of their lives to the Prime Minister everyday, “and then we should sleep peacefully like the way we do.”

What netizens said

A lot of users reacted to the post and one said, “Does this mean you value Modi Ji at just one rupee?”

Another said, “We must appreciate the purity of his emotion and dedication. While Prime Minister Modi traditionally does not accept personal gifts, citizens can make meaningful contributions in his name to support members of our armed forces and those impacted by natural calamities.”

“Observing a single minute of silence regardless of religious or political affiliation is a modest but powerful gesture of national unity. If we cultivate such a mindset across society, it will advance cohesion and resilience, and undermine forces that seek to divide or damage our nation. Well put, Sudesh,” the user added.
