In a turn of events that could rival a tragic comedy, a woman’s dream of attending Coldplay’s Mumbai concert hit the trash, quite literally. Prachi Singh, a social media user, shared her ordeal on Instagram, revealing how her housemaid unknowingly threw away the coveted tickets during a cleaning spree.
With plans set and their driver waiting, Prachi and her husband were ready to leave for the concert when they discovered the tickets were missing. Their maid then confessed, “Woh toh safai mein phek diye” (I threw them away while cleaning). The couple rushed to the building’s garbage containers, where sanitation workers kindly helped search through piles of trash in vain. Watch the video here:

Coldplay in India
Coldplay kicked off their much-awaited India tour with a dazzling performance in Mumbai on Saturday night, captivating fans with their iconic hits and heartfelt gestures. Frontman Chris Martin won hearts by addressing the crowd in Hindi, saying “Shukriya” (thank you) after a song, which was met with thunderous applause.
One of the standout moments of the evening came when Martin noticed fan placards in the crowd. Spotting one that read “Jai Shri Ram,” he repeated the phrase, sparking a wave of cheers from the audience. Intrigued, the singer even asked about its meaning, showcasing his effort to connect with the local culture and his Indian fans.
The British rock band will perform again in Mumbai on January 21 and 22 before heading to Ahmedabad for shows on January 25 and 26. For those unable to attend in person, the concerts will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar, ensuring fans across the country share the experience.
