Delhi Capitals continued their unbeaten run in the IPL 2025 as KL Rahul produced a batting masterclass to guide them to a memorable victory against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Chasing a target of 163, Rahul anchored the innings with a stunning 93 not out, taking DC home despite early setbacks.
RCB looked strong in the powerplay, blasting 53 runs in the first three overs without losing a wicket. However, the momentum shifted drastically as Delhi’s bowlers pulled things back, restricting RCB to a moderate 163.
The Capitals’ chase got off to a shaky start, losing three wickets during the powerplay and slumping to 67 for 4 after 11 overs. But Rahul, alongside Tristan Stubbs, stitched a solid partnership and turned the tide in DC’s favour. His calculated stroke play and composed presence ensured a successful chase.
What did Rahul say after winning the match for DC?
In the post-match presentation, he said, “This is my ground, my home; I know this ground better than anyone else.”
In his celebration, Rahul marked his territory by making a circle from his bat and then dug it in the ground like a sword and said, “Ye Mera Ground hai (this is my ground).”
Kohli is seen celebrating the wicket, glancing at KL Rahul.

In Match 25 of the IPL 2025, the Chennai Super Kings will face the defending champions KKR at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, on April 11. The match will start at 07:30 PM IST.
CSK has won only one match out of 5 they’ve played; on the other hand, KKR has won 2 out of 5. So both the teams are lagging in various aspects this season, but whoever wins this match will surely have a momentum shift.
