
After wrestler Sakshi Malik’s bronze in the 58 kg women’s category, India’s medal hopes in the event in the event now rests solely on Yogeshwar Dutt who will be starting his campaign in the 65kg freestyle on Sunday at 05:00 IST. Dutt will battle it out against Mongolian Ganzorigiin Mandakhnaran in the first round. He is expected to get past this hurdle without much trouble. Though the road gets tricky for the London Olympics bronze medalist is to face Russia’s Soslan Ramonov. Ramonov is a former world champion of 2014 and a bronze medal winner of 2015. If Dutt manages to go past him, he will face Uzbek’s Ikhtoyor Navruzov, reigning silver medallist in the semis.
