Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan brought his signature wit, humor, and dance moves to the IPL 2025 opening ceremony. The actor charmed the crowd as he invited cricket legend Virat Kohli to the stage, making him groove to his popular song ‘Jhume Jo Pathaan.’
Following Virat’s performance, Rinku Singh, the dynamic KKR batter, joined Shah Rukh and perfectly matched his steps to the hit track ‘Lut Put Gaya.’
SRK also highlighted Kohli’s exceptional loyalty as the only player to represent the same franchise since the IPL’s inception in 2008. King Khan roused the crowd, leading them in chanting, “Kohli, Kohli…”
In a special moment, the BCCI honored Virat Kohli with a memento. Board chairman Roger Binny, along with officials Arun Dhumal and Rajiv Shukla, marked IPL’s 18th year by cutting a celebratory cake.
