Lucknow Super Giants recorded their second-highest total in the history of IPL while playing away against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Tuesday. Scoring a dominant 238/3 in 20 overs, LSG also recorded the second-highest total at this historic ground.

After being invited to bat first by KKR, Lucknow’s openers, Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram, gave the innings a scorching start. The duo added 99 runs for the opening wicket, laying a good platform for the middle order. As soon as Pooran joined the party, he dominated, unleashing a pyrotechnic show all over the park. His explosive hitting carried LSG to 238/3 at the close of their 20 overs.

LSG’s 238/3 total is the second highest of all time in Eden Gardens IPL history. Sunrisers Hyderabad still have the highest total achieved at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad with a gigantic 286 run total against Rajasthan Royals earlier during the 2025 season. Sunrisers Hyderabad also currently have the all-time highest score in IPL history with a record 287 scored against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

For LSG, their highest score is 257, which they made against Punjab Kings in Mohali in the 2023 season.
