Sachin A Billion Dreams, the biopic made on the life of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is set to release on May 26 and if the words of Indian cricket team are to be believed it is going to be a memorable experience for the cricket fans. The team attended a special screening of the movie in Mumbai before leaving for the ICC Champions Trophy in England which is scheduled to begin on June 1. The event was attended by all the top cricketers including Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma also attended the screening with Virat Kohli. All the players were full of praise for the film and took to Twitter to give their review. “Congrats paaji!Had goosebumps watchin your movie. U always inspire me n ur movie will nw inspire billions!” said KL Rahul about the film. Rahul, who has become an important part of the Indian team will miss the Champions Trophy due to an injury.

Shikhar Dhawan who attended the premiere with his wife and son backed Rahul’s words with his tweet. “Loved watching @sachin_rt pajhi’s movie, its amazing. Always lovely meeting him,” wrote Dhawan who was India’s leading run-scorer in the last edition of the tournament and will have an important role to play this time as well. Meanwhile, Ajinkya Rahane thanked Sachin for inspiring the nation. “thank you Sachin Sir for inspiring everyone Indian @sachin_rt,” he wrote.

Another screening was held later in the day for the Bollywood stars and was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, music maestro A R Rahman, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Kabir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Asha Bhosale, Arshad Warsi, Sonu Nigam, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita, attended the premiere. “Sachin has proved his worth through his work. The term bat will do the talking is true for him. I’ve seen his ups and downs when people were talking about his form but he has always kept quiet and let the game do the talking. His life is truly inspiring and I am happy someone decided to make a film on him,” SRK told was quoted saying by PTI.
