India vs Australia 3rd T20 Highlights: The Big Show has done it for Australia! He took the game away, scoring a brilliant ton off just 47 balls, and finishing with the winning runs from his bat. Australia chased 21 runs in the last over, and 43 runs in the last two overs. For India, the pick of the bowlers was Ravi Bishnoi who finished giving 32 runs from his 4 overs taking two wickets.
At the midway stage, Australia were three men down while chasing 223 runs. They lost three wickets towards the end of the powerplay, but Maxwell has shown some intent here. He, along with Stoinis were getting boundaries.
Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Arshdeep have taken one wicket each. They have got rid of Aaron Hardie, Travis Head and Josh Inglis.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the man of the game for India as he carried his bat after scoring a mammoth century. He ended up scoring 123 runs, taking 57 balls. Starting off slow, he saw his partners depart from the other end. But he kept his calm and held on to his end. India have scored 222 at the loss of 3 wickets from their twenty overs.
With two early wickets, Australia were all over India. However, a partnership between SKY and Gaikwad helped India return to the game. The pair together put up fifty runs, with SKY taking on the Australian bowlers. He departed in the eleventh over to Hardie. Once SKY departed, Gaikwad switched gears and was all over Australia in no time.
For Australia, Behrendorff has been the pick of the bowlers and has gone for just twelve runs in his four overs. Considering the dew factor, it would have been difficult for India to defend anything below 200 on this surface.
The third game of the five-match series between India and Australia is being played in Guwahati. India has stepped on the field with confidence as they are up by 2-0 in the series. Meanwhile, Australia will try for a comeback, and try to overcome the shortcomings of the last two games.
India has set the tone for the young players to play their game freely. The young side has outperformed the Australian side in all the departments in the first two games. Earlier, Matthew Wade won the toss and chosen to bowl first.
